Join the Jaguar family as we celebrate love, diversity, and equality, by participating in the 2019 "Pride Bigger Than Texas" parade. Family, friends, and guests are welcome to attend this celebration. Campus shuttle transportation is available, but limited; please reserve your seat(s) via this registration as soon as possible. Event exclusive shirts and glow in the dark goodies will be available to all registered participants.
Shuttle Info
The shuttle to the parade will depart at 6:00 p.m., from on-campus Parking Lot #2 (directly outside the Science and Technology West Entrance). While guests are welcome to take advantage of this offer, please be sure to register their information so that their seat may be reserved.
Pizza & Pride
The LGBTQ+ Taskforce will be hosting a pre-event"Pizza and Pride" tailgate prior to the parade. This program will begin at 6:30 p.m., and will take place at the Jaguar spot in the parade line-up (location details to be released closer to the event). Free pizza, sodas, yard games, glow sticks, t-shirts, and Pride celebration gear will be available to all attendees.

Thank you so much for signing up to celebrate Pride 2019 with your A&M-SA family. We are incredibly excited to be hosting you, and have tons of fun activities planned for tomorrow. The Jaguar parade group will be located in Section D, at line-up number 165. This placement should be near the intersection of Dewey Place and Belknap place. I have attached a parade map for more information regarding where to find us.
Please arrive between 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.; the night Parade itself starts at 9:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 p.m. We would like to allow time to check in all participants and distribute t-shirts. If you intend to participate in the pre-event Pizza and Pride tailgate, the program will begin at 6:30 and last until 8:30 p.m.

If you plan on utilizing the university shuttle, please arrive on campus by 5:45 p.m. We will provide t-shirts, check you in for shuttle transportation, and depart from campus at 6:00 p.m. to join the university in celebration at the tailgate. Shuttle pickup will be located in Parking Lot #2, directly outside the West entrance to the Science and Technology Building. Upon conclusion of the parade, you will follow university reps to the shuttle return location. Please print out the parking pass below, and display it in your windshield if you would like to park your vehicle in Lot #2 while you are at the parade.

Pizza, lawn games, cool drinks, and prizes will be available at the pre-event tailgate, located at the Jaguar place in the parade line-up. We will be located in spot 165, in section D, which should near the intersection of Dewey Place and Belknap place. This program will be hosted from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m.

Jaguars marching in the Pride Parade will need to be in place and registered by 8:15 p.m. Please locate us by looking for the Jaguar feather flags, and the parade banner, at the intersection of Dewey Place and Belknap place.
Special Announcement: VIP Guest
Honored Veteran and LGBTQ+ Rights Activist, Tra Cooper-Harris, and her wife, Maggie Cooper-Harris. Will be joining our marching group as guests of honor. Tra Cooper-Harris is known for challenging the United States government to provide full benefits to the same-sex spouses of members of the U.S. military. In her groundbreaking victory, a precedent was set for all future victories for the LGBTQ+ military community. We are incredibly excited to have her join us in celebrating victory, love, and equality.
If you would like to learn more about Tra Cooper-Harris and her fight for LGBTQ+ Rights in the Military, please join us today (June 28th) in the Patriots' Casa Ceremony Room, from 3-4 p.m. She will be providing a inspirational speech detailing her fight for equality and journey towards justice.
