I met with one of the Napela tutors for an update on the student she was assigned. She mentioned that she agreed every Thursday late evening but, last minute canceled on her and said that she could meet the following week.

Met with Dr.Aurelus today to discuss the certification that we will hand out to the participants who have attended the events we hosted. I also put together a flyer of the supplements that were mentioned on Oct 4 that the attendees were either already taking or was recommended which will later be translated in spanish.
I updated a new flyer of the upcoming "Flu Shot and Covid Clinic" in the month of November. I also started making ribbon pins with the student worker for the Breast Cancer Tabling Event on October 20 and made informative flyers for prevention and early detection for both men and women.
Towards the end of the day the front desk lady, Dorothy, gave me the flash drive to update the slideshow in front of the office. I made it breast cancer-themed and flu/covid prevention.
I completed a presentation on both mental health and primary care for the Port Richmond Community which will be presented at El Centro Del Inmigrante on 10/04/2023 at 9 am with Dr. Aurelus.
I had a productive time catching up with one of the volunteers. She gave me an update on both of her students and asked questions regarding how to improve on what to teach the intermediate student and how to reach out to the student not responding to her.
She also showed me the Google Sheets that she has been updating and she seems to be on the right track.
Finally was able to meet with another one of the Wagner students who is volunteering for Napela. We met in the multicultural lounge and I gave her a rundown of the basics.
I went over the handbook, the google sheet where hours are tracked, and lastly what to do if students stop contacting her or if she has any issues in communication with them.
Today was a short day, one of the nurses who manages the front desk left early so the student worker there taught me how to manage the Health and Wellness schedule for the students who come in.
Later with the time we had left, I organized a new folder in Trello, the platform where the Center keeps their old flyers, and made my own drive with the ones I created so far this month.
I met with the new freshman Bonners in the all-Bonner seminar and did group activities. Our main topic was learning and applying time management and leadership skills to preparing an event. We were given fake scenarios and an 8-week template and in groups of 3, we had to prepare an outline to present in 10 mins.
