Today I had to wear a mask on my face because on December 1, the flu shot expires. It was kind of difficult to breathe wearing the masks for 4 hours. I did a simple task for nurses today assisting with the droplet and contact patients since I already had protection on.

Today I only refilled supplies in the hall with gloves, masks, and gowns which took 10 - 20 mins because there are about 20 stations plus 10 stations. One of the families in the 3B unit was very thankful for the nurse and PCAs taking care of her so she bought us lunch.

In my placement, in the hospital, the floor was not as crazy it is sometimes. There were more BLOCKED** rooms than usual meaning more contact patients. Many of the patients have droplet warning so upon entering the room you have to wear a gown and mask if the patient needs help.
