This is our second time attending and we were able to make burritos and ride bikes to deliver them again. Although their weren’t many people out this time, it was still a great experience!

When my friend Alyce and I first arrived, we were able to assist and make burritos for the bikers to give out downtown. We both decided that we wanted the full experience and chose to be a biker as well. I am beyond excited to be apart of something so genuine and exciting. Thank you all for what you do, WEEKLY! This was really a true and eye-opening experience.
ENJOYED my afternoon volunteering with Tri Delta Place Gift Shop!! The Patients and siblings were able to shop together to pick out gifts for their caregivers currently living at Tri Delta Place with them. I was able to assist with wrapping the gifts each patient picked out and was able to see how excited they were writing their “To and From” ❤️
Thank you all for this opportunity. Volunteer Odyssey Tri Delta Place
St. Jude deserves such much respect and acknowledgement!!
After having a somewhat bad day and stressed from work, I still made time to make a difference! Enjoyed spending time helping assemble holiday food baskets and bag necessities for the kids and families of Y-CAP. The YMCA Community Action Program (Y-CAP) is an early intervention/prevention program that works with youth and families to improve behavior and academic performance within in their homes, schools and communities!!! Loved loved loved spending the afternoon working with you all!! Alyce Turner and I enjoyed decorating the box for food!
Thank you for inviting me to volunteer with you all. Today, I had a chance to assess an 8th grader who didn't enjoy reading. However, she was amazing and read extremely well! After a few assessments, she started becoming positive and focusing. I also had the opportunity to transition to the Warehouse with elementary and assist them with their vocabulary test. I would love to say that they are extremely smart and I enjoyed helping each child read a sentence, if needed!!!
As a special education teacher, I’m already aware of assessing and interacting with students. This involvement was great and I will continue to be apart of the movement.
Honestly enjoyed coming out and helping to organize and assist our neighbors with finding clothes and other essentials needed.
