Today was spent working my way through the EIP helpline and, upon finally reaching a live person, getting information about what services they can provide to callers. I then called my very anxious clients and let them know that help was finally available. Overall, very satisfying.
I was able to review LITC cases that were successfully closed. Then, I drafted short success stories about the cases for LITC to use in their interim report.
I gathered information and prepared an amended return for a client, as well as preparing a brief memo regarding EIP updates and estimated numbers and payment amounts.
