Since the fall of 2014, UAB has sponsored an annual Habitat House Build. These builds have been made possible through the generosity of UAB employees and their contributions to the Benevolent Fund. UAB employees charitable donations help to make up the $50,000 required to sponsor a Habitat House build. Roughly 500 student and employee volunteers make this build possible each year through more than 2,000 hours of volunteer labor.
