About

CALLING ALL JAGUARS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS!

You are invited to volunteer for our annual Festival de Cascarones, the grand finale of Fiesta 2026 at Texas A&M University-San Antonio!

As one of the largest and most anticipated events on campus, Festival de Cascarones is a proud university tradition that brings together students, employees, alumni, families, and the greater community for a day of celebration and connection.

Why volunteer?

• Complimentary access to a designated volunteer parking area on a first-come, first-served basis
• A commemorative Festival de Cascarones T-shirt while supplies last
• A complimentary meal during your volunteer shift while supplies last

Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet colleagues from across campus, connect with community members, and support this vibrant tradition. Plus, it is guaranteed to be a lot of fun!

Community members, including friends and family, are welcome to sign up. This is also a great opportunity to visit and experience our beautiful campus.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older to participate.

All volunteers are required to attend one of the following mandatory orientation sessions:

April 3, 2026 | 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM | Hall 102
April 8, 2026 | 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM | Auditorium
April 15, 2026 | 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM | Hall 102
April 20, 2026 | 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM | Virtual

Please note that all participants who are not current members of the A&M-SA community, including alumni, family members, and other community members, must complete and pass a background check.

We sincerely appreciate your time and commitment to helping make this event a continued success.

Please note that these volunteer roles are separate from organizational or departmental booth opportunities. Only official university volunteer roles include the complimentary T-shirt, volunteer parking access, and meal, all while supplies last.

We look forward to having you join us as a volunteer for this year’s Festival de Cascarones!
