Join your fellow Jaguars as they volunteer with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Beaumont, Texas. Use your Spring Break to make a difference and build your leadership skills as part of a phenomenal team. A small fee of $50 gets you 4 days and 4 nights of transportation, food, lodging, project materials, and quality community service experience. Although scheduled to start service on the 12th, transportation will depart the night of the 11th to ensure readiness for morning events.
Registration for this Givepulse event does not guarantee a spot in the Alternative Break experience. Short essay questions will be reviewed and the top eight applicants will be accepted into the program. The Mays Center is looking for determined students ready and willing to make a difference in the greater Texas community.

Program acceptance will be determined by February 7th.
Students must be willing to contribute a small fee of $50 towards their transportation, boarding, meals, and materials required to complete projects. No other participant costs will be associated with this alternative break opportunity. Students must also be willing too meet at least 3 times prior to the project to discuss logistics, program expectations, and complete minimal training.
