Meet-Up Information

Thank you all for registering to be a part of the 23rd Annual Cesar Chavez March for Justice! Because of your interest and determination, this is looking to be the LARGEST Jaguar turnout for this event in A&M-SA history. The official meet up point for our team will be located at 723 South Brazos St., San Antonio, TX 78207 (right next to the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center). You may find us by searching for the two large Jaguar feather flags, and the Jaguar March banner.  Please see below for information regarding parking and transportation to our point in the March line.

For those registered for the campus shuttle:

Please arrive outside of the West Entrance of the Science and Technology Building, between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. You may utilize the temporary pass below to park in Lot #2 for the duration of the event. Due to registration being at capacity, we ask that only those who pre-registered to utilize the shuttle arrive to depart from the Texas A&M University-San Antonio campus.

After the march concludes, you will be guided to at 600 N Presa St, San Antonio, TX 78205 (Alongside the Hyatt Regency Hotel), so that we may return to campus.

For those taking advantage of the FREE Via Park and Ride Service:

Free VIA bus rides to the march will run between 8 and 10 a.m., leaving from the downtown UTSA parking lots on Dolorosa Street at Pecos La Trinidad Street and from the Alamodome parking lots B and C on Cherry Street. We ask that you arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Upon arriving at any of these sites, please search for the Jaguar team wearing red shirts and carrying large Jaguar feather flags. They will check-you in and provide you with a march t-shirt (while supplies last).

Return services will be available until 3 p.m., leaving from Old Bowie Street, located near the Institute of Texan Cultures Gate 4.

Official march t-shirts will be given out to participants the morning of the event (while supplies last). Upon check-in at either the campus shuttle site or a VIA Park and Ride site, you will be eligible to receive  a shirt. We ask that all Jaguars consider bringing a can of non-perishable food to donate to the "Yes We Can!" food pantry initiative, benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank. Donations will be collected prior to the start of the march.
